Overview

The Senior Pool Concierge is responsible for maintaining the hotel's indoor and outdoor pool area to ensure a fully functional, clean, guest safe, and friendly environment at all times. Ensures seating and umbrellas are set to SSI spec. Removes used towels & replenishes with fresh ones. Keeps the pool area litter free, clean and dry. Is responsible for executing the Bike rental and the Metal Detector Rental Programs. Is also responsible for overseeing the schedule of all pool concierge staff and conducts all training.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure no glass is taken into the pool area
  • Ensure each guest follows the posted pool rules.
  • Ensure each guest has on proper attire as defined in the standards.
  • Answer all questions and explain policies
  • Be familiar with the building facilities and their location and hours to provide excellent guest service
  • Continually communicate with engineers, supervisors and manager on all items related to the pool
  • Assist in maintaining all safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure department is operating in compliance with all Fire & Safety regulations. 
  • Ensure water chemistry is tested every 2 hours and resulted posted. All abnormalities reported to the supervisor ASAP.
  • Ensure guest events in the pool (Vomit, defecation, blood, injury, etc.) are reported to the supervisor ASAP an the pool is closed immediately to guest use until the event is corrected by engineering.
  • Marriott Bike Rental Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that bikes are clean and in good condition prior to guests use
  • Ensure that bikes are properly stowed, locked and covered at the end of day
  • Ensuring paperwork is turned in nightly to the front desk so that payment can be charged directly to the guest room on a timely basis.
  • Attention to detail in paperwork processing including guest list verification, payment forms, and waiver completion
  • Exhibit professional behavior at all times when communicating with guests and fellow employees
  • Welcome guests with a warm and friendly smile while providing exceptional bike rental customer service

Qualifications

ExperiencePrevious customer service skills preferred
