Overview

Greet customers, park & secure vehicles, including locking doors & closing all hatches & windows.

Responsibilities

  1. Report to work in complete company provided uniform including name tag.
  2. Provide guest services in a highly professional manner exceeding guest expectations at all times.
  3. Greet customers, park & secure vehicles, including locking doors & closing all hatches & windows.
  4. Must be able to receive money from other associates and guests, for valet parking and make correct change to them.
  5. Greet & interact with the guest in a friendly & professional manner creating the “WOW” experience.
  6. Inspect & evaluate physical condition of Valet area, including front drive, garage, and lobby for cleanliness and report any necessary repairs or safety concerns.
  7. Interact with fellow associates in a courteous & professional manner.
  8. Report unsafe work conditions/practices and safety/security violations in accordance with Company policy.
  9. Keep work areas in front of house and back of house clean. 
  10. Attend & participate in all appropriate and/or mandatory meetings & on-going training sessions.
  11. Maintain good attitude & work ethic practices in order to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.
  12. Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
  13. Assist doorperson & bell staff as needed.
  14. Filled out a guest parking ticket legibly. A parking ticket must have the following (no exceptions):

Green Ticket(Hotel): Full Name on the ticket should be the full name on the hotel reservation, license plate tag number, color of vehicle, make of vehicle, any scratches or dents must be marked, the driver’s initials, and correct space parked before the keys are issued to the cashier. 

Red Ticket (Restaurant): Must be Full name of the guest, license plate tag number, color of vehicle, make of vehicle, any scratches or dents must be marked, the driver’s initials, and correct space parked before the keys are issued to the cashier. 

Blue Ticket (Banquet or Events): Must be Full name of the guest, license plate tag number, color of vehicle, make of vehicle, any scratches or dents must be marked, the driver’s initials, and correct space parked before the keys are issued to the cashier. 

  1. All vehicles that are to be valet parked must be parked by valet or anyone assisting the valet department. A guest that valet parks, must never be asked or told to park their own vehicles.
  2. Drive slow and carefully when parking a guest car, walk and run fast when retrieving a guest car.
  3. Perform garage checks daily.

Successfully complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

ExperienceHas possessed United States driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years with proof of a clean DMV record.
EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred
ExperienceMinimum of 6 months valet or professional driving related experience preferred.
SkillCan safely operate both manual & automatic vehicles.
